Mr. Sebahattin Aktaş first entered the chemicals sector in 1978 through a family-owned chemical materials business, laying the foundation for his long-standing industry expertise.

Founded by Sebahattin Aktaş, SEBA Kimya was established in 1989, building on his early experience in the chemicals industry.

The SIR brand was born in 1997 as a mass-market detergent brand and positioned as the umbrella brand of SEBA Kimya, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth.

The strong interest and appreciation shown by consumers for SIR-branded products led SEBA Kimya to relocate to a new factory in 2005. During this period, by closely following global trends, the SIR brand gained a global identity and export activities began.
